I’ve been here for a full week. It feels good. I’m still in love with this city.
The apartment is coming together nicely, I’m amazed on how much space I still have. Nothing to complain about, I’m just trying to make it feel more cozy :) I want to find the perfect accent chair, curtains, and more wall hangings.
I met two neighbors who introduced themselves to me. One lady on my floor, another from a couple floors below. A guy said hi to me in the elevator as well.. funny story: While waiting for the elevator today, it went up to the penthouse then stopped at my floor, a very handsome guy inside said hi to me and went back to his iphone. Of course I blushed a little, opened my purse right away, and pretended to text. I’m terrible at flirting if I don’t know the person. Once we landed on the lobby floor i quickly walked out and started laughing at myself. Oh Nasya.. Well I hope I see him again some day, maybe I’ll be more prepared ;)
I’ve noticed so far that this building is very diverse, although I have yet to see children, I’m guessing some have them, we shall see. My building is pet friendly and I’ve seen many adorable dogs walk by me in the lobby. I’m training little Roo to walk on a lease. She fights me, but I think she’s getting the hang of it. I’ve been taking her out once a night to walk around the block and reward her with turkey meat. She is a crowd pleaser and many people stop me to ask about her. I bet if there was a new born baby and Roo next to each other fighting for attention, Roo would win hands down. Is it bad I’m a bit jealous of my 2 lb chihuahua? haha.
Well I’m gonna start making dinner, baked salmon and an italian salad. Yum!
I’ll keep you guys in the loop, but til next time.. LOVE YOU!
